We had a fabulous day out at Midland Counties Championship Show yesterday judged by Mrs Sue Seath.
Betsy (Brontillow Grace Darling) was first in her Junior class then went on to be awarded her second RCC at 15 months old.
Critique:
Harsh coated dark brindle I have admired from the ringside. Thankfully, appears to have come through an awkward “teenage” phase to regain the quality she had as a pup. Is so sound and well balanced with good bone and substance throughout, yet retaining her femininity. Attractive head with dark eye and keen expression. Good reach of neck and well laid shoulders. Excellent body shape and firm topline which she holds at all times in stance and on the move. Well angulated hindquarters are in balance with her forequarters. Moves steadily keeping her outline and is sound out and back. Pleased to award Reserve CC in a line-up of quality bitches.
Thank you to Ian Seath for the photos.
Ryan and Vandal (Brontillow Beblowe Crag) entered for their first show and were fourth in their Junior class. We were wishing for at least a third place to qualify for Crufts but it wasn't to be. They are going to enter a couple more to see if they can get through after some ringcraft classes.
We had great fun, Ryan packed a picnic to feed everyone in the show and as always, it was lovely to meet up with friends.
